Every year Father Christmas comes to Stralsund harbour. The festively decorated Alter Markt with the historical City Hall and St Nicholas’ Church provide a splendid backdrop, where the Rathauskeller in its Christmas best forms an attractive centre for the Christmas Market, with arts and crafts, culinary delights and entertainment. On the way from Alter Markt to the fun and thrills of the fairground at Neuer Markt, you can take a mulled wine at one of the many stalls.
